New York Beauty Puzzle

I've always been a fan of jigsaw puzzles. At AQS, we've been thinking about ways we can provide fun and excitement to quilters in addition to our shared love of fabric. We'd like to see whether anyone else is interested in puzzles, too.

We've made an online jigsaw puzzle one of the quilts from  New York Beauty Simplified  by Linda J. Hahn. We hope you enjoy putting it together as much as we did. Let me know what you think!

Have some fun putting this quilt together. Please share your comments and thoughts on whether you'd want to see more of these in the future.

Happy Piecing!

The first time, it was missing a piece. I suspect it was under that menu in the upper left. I shuffled it and this time the piece was there, but a barely visible piece behind the menu. I was able to coax it out, so it took me twice as long to do it, since i had to do it twice. Can you make puzzle without the menu?

I truly enjoyed working the puzzle. That's what I do in the winter season, besides quilt and read.

It will be entirely your fault if I get nothing done. Jigsaw puzzles are my addiction. I will have to go to "Puzzles-Anonymous"! I echo another comment: there is a missing puzzle piece lurking under the menu. Each time I tried there was a differnent piece missing. Can you make the work space just a tad larger?Thank you for this great fun.

I was missing 5 pieces, and they weren't behind the menu -- I could move the menu around to look. I also moved the whole puzzle to look and couldn't find them.

It was fun, let's have more with the kinks worked out!

This was fun. After I figured out the size of the completed piece, it went together quite easily. Please do more. Thanks

We're glad you're enjoying this jigsaw puzzle!

You can "grab" the little menu box at the top and move it around to find pieces lurking behind it.

We're looking at all of your comments and addressing those we can. The issue of a puzzle sometimes having missing pieces altogether is not a technical problem we can solve, but you can try refreshing your web page, or your browser, or even try the puzzle again the next time your reboot your computer.

Enjoy!

Really enjoyed it. Had no trouble moving the box, but had to move it several times. First put the corners in the corners, but found I had too few pieces and realized it was smaller than the area. Would have been much faster had the box not been in the way, though.

I love doing these puzzles. Which it had been in a larger space--more room to move around. More please!

Love jigsaw puzzles. I think that's part of being a quilter- putting things together to make a larger picture. More please.

I love the puzzle! Maybe you could have different level of difficulty. I love doing puzzles when I get frustrated with my quilting.

I love to do puzzles. I keep a puzzle site in my favorites list and enjoy doing them just to relax. Would love to see you do this more often. :-)

I love the puzzles, this one was way easy. I have been doing the ones on the Quilt Show and they have 60 to 80 or so pieces and take me 30 to 45 min to do. This one was a little over 4 min. But fun, so do more.

I too have been doing the ones on www.thequiltshow.com and like them. this was a nice simple one, but I also agree, I like the option to make it open up to a larger screen. happy new year!
